What is Temporary Use Permit No. 850-12 (TUP850-12)?

The subject property is located at 4785 Airport Way in the South Revelstoke area of Electoral Area B and is more particularly shown on the map below:

The subject property is located south of the City of Revelstoke in Electoral Area B on Airport Way.  The owners would like to operate a vacation rental on the property which is currently not a permitted use in the Small Holdings zone.  The property owners have therefore applied for a TUP to allow a four bedroom vacation rental.  TUPs are issued for three years, renewable once.

A copy of the proposed permit application and relevant background documents may be inspected at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2021 and ending Thursday, January 21, 2021 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below.

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your submission.
