What is Development Variance Permit No. 701-89 (DVP701-89)?

The applicant would like to resolve a building encroachment that occurred prior to the current owner’s purchase of the subject property Lot  16, Section 30, Township 22, Range 10, West of the 6th Meridian, Kamloops Division Yale District, Plan KAP56039, located at 3230 Berke Rd, Blind Bay. The western side of the house constructed on Lot 16 is encroaching onto Lot 15. The owner is requesting the above variances and is prepared to register an easement on Lot 15 to allow the structure to remain in its present location. A copy of the proposed permit application and relevant background documents may be inspected at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, beginning Friday, June 7, 2019 and ending Thursday, June 20, 2019 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below.

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

The Board meeting is open for public attendance, however, there is no specific opportunity for the public to provide verbal or written submissions about this permit application at this meeting.
