Power restored in Silver Creek, plans for warming shelter cancelled

Power has now been restored to the Salmon Valley area, therefore the warming centre in Silver Creek will not be opening as planned.

Boil Water Notice rescinded for Scotch Creek-Lee Creek Fire Hall

Following acceptable water test results from the well water system at the Scotch Creek - Lee Creek Fire Hall and Community Hall, the Boil Water Notice has been removed effective immediately. 

The Boil Water Notice had been put in place due to unacceptable coliform bacteria levels.

The CSRD thanks the users of the facility for their patience.
