Lakes Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 900-25

What is Lakes Zoning Amendment (CSRD) Bylaw No. 900-25 (BL900-25)?

BL900-25 proposes to amend the Lakes Zoning Bylaw No. 900 by increasing the maximum size for residential docks to 30 m2, and by increasing the maximum size for docks related to public park use to 40 m2. The bylaw would also include minor amendments to maximum dock and walkway widths to resolve metric conversion issues.  The proposed amendments would apply to the lakes shown on the following map:

Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw amendment, shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw at the Public Hearing.

A copy of the proposed bylaw and relevant background documents may be inspected at and at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, beginning Friday, May 10, 2019 and ending Monday, May 27, 2019 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below.

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2019 or may be submitted until the close of the Public Hearing. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your submission. The author's phone number and email address are not relevant to the Board’s consideration of this matter and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received by the CSRD are subject to public disclosure. Please clearly write "Public Hearing Submission – Bylaw No. 900-25" on the top of your submission.
