Short Summary:

The subject property is the location of Boulder Mountain Resort (BMR) located west of the City of Revelstoke, off the Trans-Canada Highway and north of the railway line, in Electoral Area B. The applicant’s development proposal includes new tourist cabins on the west side of the BMR property and an expansion of the resort onto 2.3 ha of adjacent Crown land to the east in the form of walk-in tent sites, pit toilets, and a shelter building. The BMR property is designated Highway Commercial and therefore is subject to the Commercial Development Permit Area and requires a Development Permit for form and character that must be reviewed and issued by the Board.
