Insurance

Users will require insurance in order to rent the facility. Users may choose their own private insurer or purchase insurance through the Municipal Insurance Association's User Group Insurance program.

About the Park

Gail Road Waterfront Park is lake access in the Eagle Bay area. It provides picnic tables, garbage and recycling receptacles, a vault toilet, and parking for three vehicles. It was constructed in 2014, with an emphasis on maintaining the native plants which grow in this area.

For boats, this is a hand-launch site. Gail Road is a Ministry of Transportation Public Access to Shuswap Lake. It is under a License of Occupation to the CSRD and has been substantially improved as a day-use park.

Directions

Turn off the Trans-Canada Highway at Balmoral Road, continue onto Eagle Bay Road and take a left turn onto Parker Road.
