The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) Board is backing a proposal from the District of Sicamous to apply for a $6 million grant towards the development of a Community Wellness Centre.
The grant application is to the Canada-British Columbia – Rural and Northern Communities Program.
The Centre, planned for Main Street, is proposed to house up to two doctors, three dentists, an optometrist and a physiotherapist.
