City of Salmon Arm
The Columbia Shuswap Regional District and the Regional District of North Okanagan have successfully concluded the purchase of a section of the CP Rail corridor that runs between Sicamous and Armstrong.
In partnership with Splatsin and their segments of the CP rail corridor, this proposed land acquisition is intended to ensure public ownership of a key linear corridor to be used for recreational opportunities, including walking and cycling, while retaining the corridor for future transportation and economic development needs.
The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) is opening a permanent household hazardous waste collection depot at the Salmon Arm Landfill. The depot will initially be open between 9 AM and 4 PM daily from November 25, 2017 to December 2, 2017. After December 2, 2017 the depot will be open on Saturdays only from 9 AM to 4 PM.
A bylaw to regulate the administration and operation of the Shuswap Emergency Program (SEP).
