Flooding and Sandbag Information

The heavy rain from overnight thunderstorms, combined with snow melt from warmer temperatures has seen the flow and level of several water courses rise.  

Sandbags are available for residents concerned about protecting their property from flooding.  Property owners are responsible for taking steps and having the necessary equipment to protect their properties from flooding.

Request for Proposals – Sicamous Landfill Design and Operation Plan Update

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District is seeking proposals from qualified consultants with a demonstrated ability in landfill design and planning, to review the existing Design and Operation Plan for the Sicamous Landfill and develop a report to provide recommendations for an update to the existing Design and Operation Plan for the site. 

Proposals will be accepted until 2 PM PDT on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the office of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District.  Please download the RFP document for further details and the complete scope of the project.
