About the Centre
The arena consists of one NHL regulation-sized ice sheet with spectator seating provides user-groups ice time for such things as public skating, parent and tot activities and shinny drop-in programs. Local community user-groups and organizations can offer a wide variety of youth and adult hockey, speed skating, figure skating, and other programming in the facility. The facility also contains a recently upgraded fitness centre, concession and banquet hall.
Surrounded by the breathtaking surroundings of the Shuswap, the single-sheet arena with banquet hall makes the facility an ideal location to host large or small hockey tournaments, or other events, at reasonable rates.

- Please remember to use the assigned dressing room. There is no changing or putting on skates in the arena lobby area.
Fitness Centre upgrade
Outfitted with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, the fully renovated fitness room offers multiple types of cardio equipment including treadmills and exercise bikes, along with a full complement of strength equipment, free weights and fitness accessories.
The goal was to provide top-quality commercial equipment that will accommodate all users and fitness levels while leaving ample open floor space to allow for traditional stretching, balance exercises and yoga movements.
- Summer Fitness Centre Hours - 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Winter Fitness Centre Hours - 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Management
The Sicamous and District Recreation Centre is owned, managed, and operated directly by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District effective June 1, 2022.

All fees are charged per CSRD Bylaw 5846 (PDF).
