The Columbia Shuswap Regional District is proposing to exclude the 13.9 ha portion of the property in the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) from the ALR.

Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed ALR exclusion, shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the application at the Public Hearing.

The public will also be able to attend the public hearing virtually in real time.

A copy of the application and relevant background documents may be inspected here and at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (local time), beginning Tuesday, April 19, 2022 and ending Thursday, May 5, 2022 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below.

How do I send a written submission?

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 12:00 PM (local time) on Thursday, May 5, 2022 or may be submitted until the close of the Public Hearing. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your Submission. The author's phone number and email address are not relevant to the Board’s consideration of this matter and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received by the CSRD are subject to public disclosure and a copy may be provided to the applicant. Please clearly write "Public Hearing Submission –LC2582A" on the top of your submission. The Board of the CSRD will not consider any verbal or written representations or submissions after the public hearing has closed. Written submissions may be submitted by email or to the address above.
