The Evacuation Order issued by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District through the Shuswap Emergency Program due to the danger to life safety caused by a wildfire burning near White Rock Lake is hereby partially rescinded effective Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1700 Hours.

All homes in the rescind area revert to Evacuation Alert status and residents must remain ready to leave their homes again on short notice if the fire situation changes
The areas now downgraded to Evacuation Alert status are as follows:
- 6547 - 6899 Six Mile Creek Road
- Falkland including all properties along Chase-Falkland Road to Joyce Lake
- Cedar Hill area
Further, the previous Evacuation Alert areas are rescinded for:
- The hills west of and above Yankee Flats Road, north to Spa Creek
- Glenemma
- Silver Creek
- Yankee Flats
- Deep Creek
Evacuation Order remains in place for the area around Pinaus Lake.
