The Markwart Road Boat Launch is closed for repairs after a section of the dock was damaged.
The boat launch is located at 2888 Markwart Road, Sorrento. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
One section of the dock was damaged and was sinking, and had to be removed for repairs. A ramp and dock section remain on site, but should not be used, due to the unsafe access.
People are asked to refrain from using the launch until repairs are completed. The CSRD will post on its website and social media once the dock is re-opened to the public.
