[ARCHIVED] Electoral Area D - Development Variance Permit No. 2500-22

 What is Development Variance Permit No. 2500-22 (DVP2500-22)?

 The subject property is located at 5674 Tuktakamin Rd in the Falkland area of Electoral Area D and is more particularly shown on the location map below:

The owners of the subject property have made application to vary the minimum parcel size required in the RS Single and Two Family Residential Zone for lots proposed to be serviced by community water system and on-site sewage disposal system. The required minimum lot area is 4000 m2 and the owners are requesting a variance to allow a two lot subdivision with proposed lot sizes of 1570 m2 and 2430 m2.

A copy of the proposed permit application and relevant background documents may be inspected at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, beginning Friday, January 6, 2023,  and ending Thursday, January 19, 2023. (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below. The documents will also be available to view on the Agendas and Minutes page of the CSRD website starting on Friday, January 13, 2023.

How do I send a written submission about this permit application?

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4 PM on January 17, 2023. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your submission. The author's phone number and email address are not relevant to the Board’s consideration of this matter and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received by the CSRD are subject to public disclosure and a copy may be provided to the applicant. Please clearly write "DVP Submission – DVP2500-22" on your submission. Where and when will the permit be considered for issuance?

At the CSRD, 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC, during the Regular Board Meeting commencing at 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

 The Regular Meeting will convene in the CSRD Boardroom with a combination of in-person and virtual attendance. There is no specific opportunity for the public to provide verbal or written submissions about this application at this meeting.
