The Columbia Shuswap Regional District currently administers three mosquito control programs for the reduction of the nuisance effect of mosquitos.

2012  Mosquito Control Program Final Reports

A formal public assent process was carried out in Falkland in 2009 to determine the community's desire for a program in that area.  Because of the very narrow margin of approval, implementation of a mosquito control program will be delayed indefinitely.
