| Waterfront Park Blind Bay Beaches (also known as Pebble Beach and Sandy Beach) are two of the most popular beaches on Shuswap Lake. Located along the shores of Shuswap Lake, the cozy community of Blind Bay is known for its mild winters and hot summers. Blind Bay is approximately a half hour drive from Salmon Arm. | Waterfront Park Caen Road Park is a grassy park located in Blind Bay. Used as a day use park and swimming area, Caen Road Park is a beautiful destination for a day of swimming and picnicking. |  | Waterfront Park Hugh Road Community Park is a .5 Hectare site with 70 meters of lakefront providing access to White Lake. he trail winds down from the parking lot, past two picnic benches, each have a superb view across the lake. At the end of the trail is possibly the best swimming spot on the lake, it has a buoyed swim area with a swim platform. Developers of this park deliberately left the site as natural as possible resulting in Hugh Road being a popular perching spot for eagles and ospreys. Read More | |

|  | Waterfront Park Shannon Beach This site is along the shoreline on Shuswap Lake. There is a small picnic area overlooking the lake. A short wheelchair accessible trail leads across Eagle Bay Road to the beach (watch for traffic). Picnic tables that are wheelchair accessible are also available at this site. The large swimming area is cordoned off from boat traffic with buoys. A swimming raft is provided for the enjoyment of swimmers and sun bathers. Read More | |
 | Waterfront Park Sunnybrae Park is a great spot for family recreation which includes a playground, ample parking, washrooms and a beach on Shuswap Lake. It has a picnic area adjacent to one of the best beaches in the Shuswap. There is a short trail up to the top of the bluffs across the road for a wonderful view across the lake. | Waterfront Park Wild Rose Bay is secluded and rarely visited park mainly due to its distance from the Highway. A trail has been constructed leading from the parking lot down to the shoreline. The parking lot is substantial and includes a public washroom and garbage receptacle. | Waterfront Park White Lake Community Park is located adjacent to the Community Hall in White Lake. There is a boat launch with fixed dock, parking area for tow vehicles and trailers across Parri Road adjacent to the Fire Hall, vault toilet, picnic area and viewing platform with views over White Lake. | Waterfront Park Cedar Heights Park is a 7.24hectare (17.89 acre) park divided by Salmon River Road. The west portion has a large old growth Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir trees. The east portion contains a ball field with adjacent concession stand and toilets. A horse riding ring is available for equestrian use. | Trails John Evdokimoff Bike Park (White Lake Bike Terrain Park) is a bike skills park graded green, blue and black located in White Lake. It was designed by the renowned Mountain Bike guru Jay Hoots and built with help by local volunteers. Progressive drops, table tops, balance features and free trail rides are featured in this regions first bike skills park. The park also includes washrooms and a viewing platform. John Evdokimoff Bike Skills Park also acts as a trailhead for the White Lake Balmoral connector trail linking the two communities of White Lake and Blind Bay. Read More | |

| | Trails Reinecker Creek Trail has a lower loop contained almost entirely within Herald Provincial Park. This is a moderate hike that begins with switchbacks and climbs about 200 feet through picturesque fir and pine forest with views of Shuswap Lake. The trail then descends gradually to cross the creek and returns on the west side on an old logging (skid) road and exits onto Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road about 200 metres west of the Margaret Falls Trail parking lot. The hike takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete. Two longer loops branch off the lower loop just 60 metres to the east of the foot bridge across Reinecker Creek and switchbacks onto a bench above the creek, then continues for 4 km to another bridge crossing, and yet another loop continues north towards White Lake and again crosses onto the west side to join an ATV track that continues on to White Lake at Woodhaven Campground.
