Saratoga Waterworks                                                                                                        

The Saratoga water system is located in Scotch Creek on the north shore of Shuswap Lake. 99 properties are currently connected to this system and there are very few vacant lots.

At the request of property owners, this system was taken over by the Regional District in 2003 and considerable upgrades were undertaken, including a new intake, reservoir and treatment system. A SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system was installed in 2010 and provides full remote monitoring capabilities.
