Falkland Waterworks                                                                                                         
                                      

 

The Falkland water system is located on Highway 97 N approximately halfway between Vernon and Kamloops. 

214 properties are currently connected to this system which will soon be undergoing a major upgrade in 2012 with funding contribution from the Building Canada Fund. 

The upgrade will include a second groundwater well, chlorination, booster station, electrical and instrumentation  upgrades, installation of emergency power & a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition) system will provide full remote monitoring capabilities.
