Lake Discharge Prohibition
The Municipal Sewage Regulation (MSR) has been amended to continue (without expiration) the prohibition of direct discharge of treated sewage to Shuswap Lake and to extend the prohibition to White Lake and the CSRD portion of Mara Lake. This amendment has been made in support of and as a direct result of the CSRD's liquid waste management planning processes. Read more>>
