Bylaw Enforcement Complaint

The person making the complaint is the complainant. The name and contact of the complainant is required otherwise Bylaw Enforcement staff will not consider the complaint.

Who owns/lives on the offending property?
What is the address of the offending property? This can be civic address, legal description, PID, etc. so that staff can find the property.
Describe offense
Include a photograph of the problem if you can.

Complainant information is considered confidential by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) and your identity will not be revealed, as it is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. However, should the matter proceed to court and if required by direction of law, the CSRD may be required to disclose the information provided.

Often complaints are resolved amicably between neighbours. As a result, and if possible, it is recommended that each party attempt to resolve their issues before contacting Bylaw Enforcement Services for assistance.
