Save money and protect the region through proper septic maintenance. You’ll find everything you need to know right here!
In 2012, the CSRD launched the Septic Smart program in response to the CSRD Liquid Waste Management Plans. The program developed educational materials for proper septic maintenance, and collected field surveys of on-site systems to understand current practices and behaviors related to liquid waste management. In March 2016, the CSRD Board approved re-launching the Septic Smart program to identify any variations in septic system awareness, maintenance and behaviors since the initial program launch in 2012, as well as offering educational materials to residents within Electoral Areas C, D, E and F.
